Celebridades, iconos, paisajes digitales y juguetes: la imagen de la fantasía fabricada se replantea en el lenguaje visual en esta exhibición multimedia sobre la cultura popular.

A raíz de la creciente confrontación entre lo real y lo virtual, las fronteras entre el arte y los medios de comunicación se difuminan, inspirando nuevas mitologías, una visión del deseo dando forma a la identidad.

Apropiándose de imágenes y referencias históricas, tecnologia, la política, la religión, estos artistas iluminan los cambios en la forma de crear y consumir la cultura.

Una continuación a la investigación sobre la influencia de la cultura pop en la producción artística en artistas jóvenes en México con curaduría de Diego Barrenechea.

In the wake of the growing confrontation between the real and the virtual, the boundaries between art and mass media blur, inspiring new mythologies, a vision of desire shaping identity.

Appropriating images and historical references, technology, politics, and religion, these artists illustrate the changes in the way culture is created and consumed.
